A sort of background Introduction

This was about two months into the journey to being a Steward of the earth. This was at Tolhurst Organics. An amazing place and time I will never forget. Two of us had just completed a harvest and we were proud of it. It was beautiful. As you can see. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Its been a bit more than 2 years now and still on the journey. I believe i have come very far and made a Lot of progress which I am grateful to God for. As of recent i was  living and working on a Biodynamic farm doing an apprenticeship. I didnt figure out i wanted to be a steward of the earth till the middle of last year 2017, and i didnt ever realise i would go into agriculture and working with nature till 2015. It was just such a random, strong calling which made no sense and some sense to me in many ways and i threw myself into it. I can only say it was God. I had always been an artist(still an artist)and studied fine art at university and had pretty much always lived in the city.

There are so many things one can do regarding nature work but agriculture seemed the best fit, even though i felt i hadnt quite out my finger on it yet but i carried on. Agriculture, particularly natural forms fosters community, provides food for people and really connects you to the earth in a great way and there are many things that one can do and specialise in within agriculture.  Meeting so many amazing people, working outside with nature everyday, learning and experiencing so much and growing, i knew didnt want to just be a grower/farmer/gardener which is what i will always do practically as an occupation but i wanted to be everything; a farmer/gardener actively deeply concerned and Interested in herbalism and health and nutrition, aesthetics and beauty, society/community and sustainability and environmental conservation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I may sound like a young person who is dreaming too much or putting too much on his plate but it is what it is.  I think this is okay. With nature work lines tend to get blurred. You cant just be one thing in isolation. Anyway, I hope you can join/follow me on this journey to being a "better" steward of the earth and realising my vision however it may turnout. I just want the best for all of us. The "steward of the earth" is just a general grand purpose title. or the best description that sums it up. All this is to share myself, my thoughts, ideas, learnings and progress and journey pretty much in becoming.  I also hope that you may also become a better steward of the earth. 💕 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All the love,

Folu, Steward of the Earth.
