Sansevieria, Snake Plant, Mother-in-laws tongue etc.

The Sansevieria Trifasciata aka snake plant or mother-in-laws tongue. This should be one of the official national houseplants of Nigeria. 🇳🇬. Im making a post on this plant because it is Native to Tropical West Africa from South East down to the Congo, as well as brazil, so the sources say. (i dont always fully believe them.) We should all have a couple. It produces a significant amount of oxygen and is a very resilient plant that tolerates low light and extended periods of neglection. It will always be there.

People/you may think its a very common plant. But i say its not common enough. Lets not get spoilt. I think it is very beautiful and special the way it pushes out and unfolds a new leaf/sword/spear. Bla bla. There are many people i have come across who had never seen or noticed this plant before and found it (the sansevieria family) a very weird alien like plant. Its not your typical leaf plant and it has a unique design. 💚
